QuickBuy — Privacy Policy
1. Summary
QuickBuy watches a Flipkart product page you choose and completes checkout when the item comes back in stock.
- QuickBuy does not have an account system, and never asks you to register.
- The QuickBuy extension does not track your browsing, build a profile of you, or run analytics or advertising code. (This website is served through a content delivery network — see section 8.)
- QuickBuy does not sell or rent any data to anyone.
- QuickBuy never reads, stores or transmits your passwords, card numbers, UPI PIN, OTP or any other credential.
- The only information that ever leaves your browser is an issue report, and only in the circumstances described in section 3.
2. Information stored on your own device
This information stays in your browser. It is not sent to us.

If you are signed in to Chrome with sync enabled, Google may sync the settings row above between your own devices. That is a function of your Chrome account, not of QuickBuy, and we cannot see it.
Uninstalling the extension removes all of it.
3. Information sent to us — issue reports
An issue report is the only thing QuickBuy transmits. There are two ways one is created:
- You send it. You press “Report issue” and type a message.
- The extension sends it automatically. When QuickBuy cannot recognise Flipkart’s buy button or confirmation dialog, it files a short report so the problem can be fixed. Flipkart changes its page markup regularly and these reports are how we find out. They are marked as automatic and are never accompanied by a message you did not write.

Nothing else is sent. No page content beyond the product title, no cart contents, no order value, no address, no payment details, no cookies — the request is deliberately made without them.
We do not store your IP address. Like any web server, ours sees the address a request came from; it is used only to stop the endpoint being flooded, and only in hashed form in a temporary file that expires by itself. It is never written to the reports table and is not kept.
What we do with reports
Only to diagnose and fix faults in the extension. Not for marketing, profiling, advertising, credit assessment, or any purpose unrelated to making QuickBuy work. Reports are not shared with anyone except a hosting provider that stores them on our behalf, or where the law requires disclosure.
Reports are kept for 12 months and then deleted.
4. Affiliate links
QuickBuy earns a commission from Flipkart’s affiliate programme.
When QuickBuy buys a product for you, it adds our affiliate identifier to the Flipkart link it opens. Flipkart records that identifier and may pay us a commission on the resulting purchase.
- It costs you nothing. The identifier does not change the price, the delivery charge, or any offer available to you.
- Only the buy step is tagged. Pages you simply browse are not touched. Nothing is added to any address until you press Start and QuickBuy performs the purchase navigation itself.
- We do not take attribution from anyone else. If you arrived at Flipkart through a different publisher’s affiliate link, QuickBuy leaves it alone and claims nothing.
- The parameter is visible. It is not hidden from your address bar.
We do not receive your identity from Flipkart’s affiliate programme. What we receive is aggregate commission reporting.
5. Flipkart is a separate company
QuickBuy is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Flipkart Internet Private Limited, beyond participation in their public affiliate programme.
QuickBuy operates inside your own logged-in Flipkart session, the same way you do when you click the buttons yourself. Anything you do on Flipkart — including orders QuickBuy places on your instruction — is governed by Flipkart’s own privacy policy and terms, not this one. We have no access to your Flipkart account, and we never see your Flipkart password.
6. Children
QuickBuy is not directed at children and should not be used by anyone below the age at which they can legally enter into a purchase contract in their country. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted.
Because reports carry no account and no name, we usually cannot connect a report to a person on our own. To have a report deleted, write to hintaro@loudhost.net with the approximate date and the Flipkart product, and we will locate and delete it. We respond to requests within 30 days.
You can stop all transmission at any time by not using the “Report issue” button, or by uninstalling the extension.
8. Security, and how this website is served
Reports travel over HTTPS and are stored on a server with access limited to the publisher. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a transmission or a stored record will never be compromised.
This website — the page you are reading and the reporting endpoint — is served through a content delivery network, Cloudflare. Like any such network it terminates the connection and keeps standard request logs, which include your IP address, for security and abuse prevention. That is a function of the hosting, and it is separate from the extension: the QuickBuy extension itself contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code of any kind, and the sections above describe everything it sends.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be reflected in the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing. Continuing to use QuickBuy after a change means you accept the updated policy.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Please read this section carefully.
QuickBuy is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that QuickBuy will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will succeed in purchasing any particular item.
You are responsible for the orders QuickBuy places. QuickBuy acts on your instruction and completes checkout on your behalf. You choose the product, the delivery address and the payment mode before it begins. You are responsible for reviewing and, where necessary, cancelling or returning any order — including an order that is placed at a price you did not expect, for a variant you did not intend, or that you no longer want. Cancellation and returns are handled by Flipkart under Flipkart’s policies.
We are not liable for any failure to obtain a product, any missed restock, any price change, any order placed, any charge incurred, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from your use of QuickBuy. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for QuickBuy — which, as QuickBuy is free, is zero.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, or any statutory right you have as a consumer or as a data subject. If any part of this section is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Your use of Flipkart remains subject to Flipkart’s terms of use. You are responsible for ensuring your own use of QuickBuy complies with them.

This policy is governed by the laws of India.
